Cold

I was in a very low point spiritually as I wrote this song. Everything just felt very dull. I couldn’t seem to get out of the slump I was in, so I sat down at the piano. Sometimes your fingers just start to play notes that ring a chord with your heart, and that is exactly what happened. I was at this point where I knew I needed to trust God even more than I was, even though mentally I was not very excited about the idea. I was longing for more intimacy with Christ, so to have that, I knew trusting Him was the first step I needed to take.
