The daughter of an onion-farmer, Starr began writing songs at a young age as a means to share Christ with her small-town community of friends. Now at 33 (and married), her passion for people has remained the heartbeat of her music.
Over eleven years and five+ albums later, Starr has traveled the country encouraging people to remember who (and how good) God is; both when times are easy and when times are hard.

Starr is also the founder and creator of The YES Necklace - a symbol of trust in God. The necklaces also accompany her heart for shedding light on the needs of widows and those facing difficult circumstances. To learn more, visit www.theyesnecklace.com.
